7.3 Peer Review
The peer review process is not an easy one.
Lets begin with a short video clip that explores the peer review process from the context of a university classroom perspective. As you view the clip, think about how this peer review process will inform your dual work as an author and as a teacher. (MIT Tech TV clip). Thinking about what you can contribute to the writing and working process for your classmates is an important step. There are NO right answers. It's about gaining expertise in sharing your work and looking critically at a piece of work. You can learn and gain new perspectives from reading/seeing work done by others.
Next, we will view an elementary classroom provide some insights into how to provide effective feedback comments. This class of students in California share best practice in writing good comments on a blog. Their ideas are applicable here.
