2.5 Where in the world is OSAPAC?
The Ontario Software Acquisition Program Advisory Committee seeks input and provides feedback to educators in collaboration with the Ministry of Education on the digital tools and technologies for classroom use. This organization provides and manages provincially funded software for all ministry funded schools in Ontario. The list of all available software is found on their website.
|
From the available list, you will select ONE digital tool to investigate for your A2-OSAPAC Software assignment. Begin with the information found on the OSAPAC software list page (linked from the images below). Search the creator's web site for additional information. Search for information in periodicals, reference material, and information available on the internet. Be sure to check your sources for reliability, accuracy and validity.
While completing you inquiry into the software, remember to check on the assignment requirements.
There are a few samples done by students in previous classes linked below. Do not base your work on these samples. Base the process and final product on your own digital fluencies and abilities. It is the process of inquiry that is AS ESSENTIAL as the final 'evidence of learning'. |
Assignment Requirements: Analyze and explore the selected tool and identify how it applies to teaching and learning by synthesizing information. Components include:
· AACRT template completed · a BRIEF tutorial created for a designated grade · links to web resources and annotated bibliography · reflection on inquiry process and final product |
